    Rear hub Question?

Thanks for the info guys. It was Tom's Differential that told me the rear hubs are thicker and stronger for the later models, I sent them mine to setup some offset trailing arms and was told I should upgrade to the later c-3 because the centers had more metal (less hollow in the center) than...

    Rear hub Question?

I have been told that the later (c-3) vettes had stronger hubs then the 65 did. What years had the better hubs? From what I was told the inner hub part is filled more (smaller opening with more metal). Thanks Chuck

    Steeroids R&P steering question?

For any that might run into the same problem: Both bolts are suppose to be 70mm long. Steeroids shipping out correct length right away. Originals were 1 70mm and 1 80mm. Also I had a problem with the 70mm bolts not tightening up still. Ended up being a spacer that is in the boot that's suppose...

    Steeroids R&P steering question?

On step 6, attaching the tie rod bracket to the R&P unit does the 2 bolts bottom out before tightening up on the lock washers. Seems to me if you have lock washers it needs to tight up on them before hitting bottom. Also the depth of the threads in the R&P unit seems the same but the 2 bolts are...

Help install VBP Upper A-Arms- JohnZ or anybody?

I believe I understand what you are saying, I presume I was right in my thoughts. Since the ps side had alot of shims in it I need the shaft turn so the offset is to the outside so I will need less shims to get it back the stock location and the Driverside will be turned to the inside since...

Help install VBP Upper A-Arms- JohnZ or anybody?

Dave, I had stock a-arms previously and no installing the tubular a-arms from VBP which have offset shafts, stock shafts are centered. So if I install the VBP shafts with the offset towards the engine it puts the ball joint outward more or positive camber then the stock shafts. If turned 180...

Help install VBP Upper A-Arms- JohnZ or anybody?

I called VBP and they were not much help on installing the upper A-arms. Basically install them, once all together (restoration all done) check it and if not right take apart and turn the shafts. But I was hoping to get it close now instead of taking it all apart once the body is back on. Is...

Did I Screw up the Rear Spindle Bearing Housing?

Thanks for the reply, I thought it might be the seal but I didn't see a seem. Must be the years of crude. I checked your site out, I will keep you in mind it the future. I plan on sending these out to Tom's Differential, I plan on using his offset trailing arms with upper control arms, 35...
