OP~ Does the passenger door open readily? Did you try your other FOB? Do you have a phone charger anywhere near the ashtray? These give off RFI, bigtime.

Dry sump is for a more "competition" oriented vehicle, convertable tops are not. Verts have their place, but not on tracks.
