As JohnZ said the frame is the same on the c-2 and c-3 dimensions. I call bowtie overdrive and order thier crossmember for a 200r4 and it will bolt in perfectly. Just need to drill holes to bolt crossmember into the frame and of course cut out the old crossmember. And I got my ZL1 in now. :D

Have you considered a 200r4? There are several tranny builders who build them for the buick Grand National community and they hold up in 700hp plus cars. The fact that they put out as much or more torque then the 502 and the trannys are in heavier cars (GN 3800lbs) then a vette I would expect it...

Got the body off and all went well. I went thru the checklist on the board and it came off in a snap. Kind of scared me that it went so easy.

Anyone looking to sell any straps and are they adjustable, the length that is? I have a ten foot ceiling and a couple of pics that I saw made it appear that you need alot of height for the straps. I any info from someone that has used them would be appreciated. Thanks Chuck
