Keyhole near emblem on driver's side fender?

Arkshark you are 100 percent correct. The early 77s had them on the fender while the later 77s had them in the door handle.

Hood Insulation, do we really need it?

Hood Insulation-really needed I've pondered doing something different under the hood my 78. I really like the insulation/liner on my C5 and would like to have the same type under my 78 instead of the stock insulation. Any idea where one can get or have made that type of liner for a C3? My 78...

Short vid of 99 with Muffle-ectomy...

Muffler ectomy... Thought this was pretty good but what would really be nice is a sound clip like the ones that Corsa,Magnaflow and some of these others do. At idle, at high rev and at cruising then added to that "let off". Then you get a full appreciation for what you have accomplished. It...

    Tire Pressure Sensor seals

Tire Pressure Sensor Sorry haen't had an opportunity to come back here and post. Since my sensro was new I didn't need an additonal seal so thought I would pass that feedback on. Now if it were a sensor that I was putting back that was used I would defintiely use another seal. Bill

    Column lock locked

Recall Completed but Still Get Message I just had my 98 done. I still get Service Column Lock showing up on the display. Dealer says it shouldn't but they had not resolved the problem by the time I picked the car up on Friday. Need to get this gone. Any ideas? Thanks, Bill

    Goodyear F1 non-EMT Tires

That's great Survivor! I understand that the runflats on the C6 are just as reliable but with a somewhat softer sidewall so they are not as noisy or bumpy over some highways. How do I solve the problem of a flat with my D3's one may ask? I have a small 275psi aircooled pump in my storage space...

    "Is 60k a lot of miles on a C5?"

Guess I missed it Johnny but it depends on the year of the car. At the price you qouted you must be looking at a 1997 maybe a 1998? Then you have to look at the overall condition of the car as to whether or not its too much. I know a guy here that bought a 2002 Z06 with 48k miles on it and...

    Transparent Lift-Off Top

I'm shocked they didn't know about it!! I have seen it on a lot of C5s and my 1998 has it bad like yours along the passenger side and now mine is starting to peel in the center. I have seen this on several C5s but have not seen it on a C4 at all and all C5s I have seen that have the problem are...

    Tire Pressure Sensor seals

Tire Pressure Sensor Thanks, Paul. The TPS is fresh in the box so the only "O" ring is the one that is built into the TPS. As I understand your note if this were not new fresh out of the box and I had broken the tire down for some reason and was putting it back on the rim then I should use a...

    Tire Pressure Sensor seals

When you look at the TPS you see a "0" ring at the base of the valve stem. Is this the only seal needed then when mounted just tighten down the nut over the valve stem or is there a seal ("0" ring supposed to go on before the valve stem)? Mine is a 1998 C5. Thanks, Bill
