    Oil Temp reading..????

Mine will run at about 220-230F once everything is warmed up. If the water temp starts going up it might increase a little; but if I start running her around 75-80mph the Oil temp will run up to around 250F. Never had it over that. .......... nut

Thanks Gerry. The Mid America fix is $120. Mine was a couple hours of my time and I still have the original and in the odd-ball Cinnabar color too. nut

    '81 Vanity Mirror

The switch is simply unavailable anywhere and a replacement vanity mirror is darn near as hard to find too. I didn't see any in Carlisle. What I did to mine was to rewire the vanity light to the bulb in the glove box. That way when wife does her make up (which is often) she likes to open the...

    '82 Pop-Up Window in an '81?

Being the proud owner of a 82 CE hatch in my '81 let me give you the real scoop. The hatch has been in my car for 25 years. 1. C&C (Cars and Concepts) was contracted by GM to fabricate the glass hatch kits and sent them to Bowling Green for installation in the 82 CE's ONLY! 2. C&C went out...

    C3's Are Stress Relievers!!!

At least we CAN work on them. :D When I open my hood I can actually recognize a classic engine shape, carburator, distributor, spark pplugs and even can count the major hoses on one hand!! HAHAHAHA Try that on a C5/6. And true indeed, some tasks can be a bit daunting; and finding someone...

6:30??? If you're not IN the grounds by 6:00am you might as well park in the street if you want to try for the (unofficial) CAC section. Yeah Bob..... the vittles are pretty good there as well as are the eats behind the grandstands too. We've tried them all. Guy probably gave her a free...

    Repaint C3 Mopar color.

That was more like Milk of Magnesia Pink. It was hideous, disgusting and draping "Barbie" across the hood in the thong wouldn't have made that color any more appealing. But it would have been a nice accessory to have :D ........ nut

    Magnaflow -vs-Flowmaster-vs-DynoMax

The Flowmaster Delta 50's are not bad at idle; actually they sound awesome along with my Blackjack headers too. They will get a little loud at certain hwy speeds; but then again...... that was a good excuse to buy a new stereo and speakers upgrade :D I had Magna Flows I bought from...

Carlisle - The Back Way In & Where to Meet

You give this secret away every year. Now I'm going to need a helicopter to avoid the miles of traffic on the back roads. Bad enough I have to leave my house at 3:00am to get there before the back ups. ....... n

    Emmisions Removal

I too removed everything but the O2 and MAP sensor. I added headers and tapped a socket for an O2 sensor, stayed with the stock Q-Jet and the car runs stronger than ever. If you want to change out everything that's fine too; it's just not necessary. .......nut
