At what point does this come up on the display in C5 vettes? Is it only on certain models or with certain options? I've seen it in my instruction manual on my '98, but never seen it appear on the display. Simply curious. Greg

Rob- I agree totally. A DOHC, stiff, well-suspended ZR-1 would be the end-all be all. It sure would be nice to have all of the technology and style in a single car! Ice- Yeah, GM drives me nuts too, but (call me optimistic) I do think that Lutz has lit a fire under some of the design teams...

Additionally, it looks like they may go to, um, sheetmetal on the C6. Whatever works, I guess.

Has anyone heard about changes to next year's Z06? I know it's a bit early, but I was just curious about changes in horsepower, suspension (magnetic ride control?), engine size, etc.

I was out looking at the '03 Z06 at the dealership yesterday, and for the first time I noticed that it's antenna on the outside of the car, instead of in the rear window. Is this because the rear window is so much smaller on the hardtop than on the coupe? Just wondering. Greg

What are the different generations of small block Chevy engines? The LS-1, most places, is referred to as a Generation IV, but I count 3: 1. The original one used in vettes up until '91 2. The LT-1/LT-4 3. The LS-1/LS-6 Is the other one the LT-5? They're killing me.
