President Bush sounds the death knell for Corvettes ...
Congress passes the bill with a veto proof majority, but Bush is the one who sounds the death knell? Yeah right. :crazy
Blame your Congress first.
If the fitting continues to leak, remove the fitting and take a close look at the flared portion to ensure it is not cracked/split. You don't want to overtighten it.
Check with Mike at Classic Corvette Parts. IIRC he is in Garland, Tx.

These are different than what's on the car. I can not see any discernable difference between the two other than how the element is installed such that the "clip" end would be on the outside of the car and on the bottom side of the arc as opposed to the inside and at the top of the arc. I could...
Something to consider. If you want to send in a control valve as a core, using a fork may cause you to lose your credit due to damage caused using the fork and/or hammer. Pullers work, and will be easier and safer in the long run.
I used one of these.
I hate swinging a large hammer. I tend to miss more than I hit. :bash Actually a bit easier too.
As mentioned, use flare wrenches and start with the smaller fitting on top. If you do the larger fitting first it may interfere with the flare wrench on the smaller one...
Don't know how many other cars do, but even my daughter's '94 Camry has L & R wipers. ;)
As far as the Vette goes, it's just a observation about the construction. I don't claim the above as fact, but it does seem logical to me.
I have a L & R pair on order for my C4. Time to replace mine...
My take, FWIW.
The windshield is fairly flat at the bottom and slightly curved at the top. The wiper arm assemblies have two intermediate arms between the long arm and the four arms that hold the element. One of the intermediate arms is slightly curved and the other is flat, and should be...
PKE was standard from 93-96.
Assuming everything is operational, you can program it to your car. Each fob will have a unique ID and you can program up to 3 for your car.
Lectron Products is the company that made the GM fobs. Buy that one vs. an aftermarket brand if you find one. Be...
As you noted, the front seal is apparently bad on one actuator, but I would replace the seals on both actuators while you're at it. They're cheap and fairly easy to replace.
Not knowing how much pressure you put the smoke under, I would not be surprised at least some smoke blow-by thru the...
What book? Title? Page number? I'd like to see it.
IANAL but I would consider photos of your engine fair game, considering the photographer would probably own the copyright and not you. Especially since you apparently agreed to let him take them without compensation in the first place.
You...
