RC Engineering did a great job for me. I had my injectors serviced by them last year. Don't remember the cost, but it was pretty reasonable compared to buying new OEM units.
I have a set of OEM stock '86 center bolt valve covers w/ bolts that I will give away free plus shipping. I started stripping the old paint off and never finished them.
Also, I have a set of stock aluminum head exhaust manifolds that are in great condition that I will give away free plus...
I've been using K&N filters for years and only had a problem once. Most likely because I re-oiled it too heavily it messed up some of the sensors and I had to take it in for service. The mechanic made sure I was aware to not over oil the filter. Since that time, I took his advice and haven't...
Got everything back together and the car started right up. I do have a small miss at idle though. Don't know if its a bad opti or not. I was a little suspect to buy an opti-spark for so cheap. But they claim its new and its garanteed for a year in case I have to return it.
I hate to tear...
I can't figure out if it's coming apart or going back together.:L:L:L
The weight in the frame fabrication alone will defeat the HP of the LS motor. A stock Honda will probably kick it's azz!
I got the pulley off OK and now the opti-spark is off.
What a mess! The whole entire front of the motor is covered with oil and grime. I can't figure out where it's coming from though. The intake was R&R a few years ago and sealed with the "Right Stuff." So I doubt that is the source. I'm...
Seems to be a common problem. Mine still does it. I thought I saw a fix-it post somewhere on this forum. But could have been another forum. Maybe someone here has done this DIY fix and will chime in.
Ok. I appologize for my ignorance, but can you explain the process of removing just the pulley. From what I can tell the pulley and the balancer look like they are one piece. I don't get what the hub is or where the mark is located. I see 3 bolts inside the pulley with a center crank bolt...
Ok, I'm finally into this thing and I followed the instructions that were provided. Now I'm down to the harmonic balancer pulley and the opti-spark.
I'm puzzled as to how the HB is going to come off with the steering rack in the way. There is only about 1/2" clearance before the pulley hits...
Thanks for the help. I've got some mechanical engine experience - just not with this animal. But I'm going to get started on it today and hope all goes well.
I need to replace the opti - spark on my 95. Is this a difficult project, or should I take it to have it done?
It's mainly an issue of available time for me. Can I do it in a day or two?
Also, if I decide to do it myself, is there a website with step-by-step instructions?
