Wow; I thought I was the only one who hated the Custom Auto Sound stuff. Installed one in my '59 and went through three (3) speakers to get one that sounds like crap. I didn't expect it to sound great with just the single speaker in the center under the windshield, but...... Then, foolishly...

Gerry, I did this to my '59. You have to buy the sunvisor equipped header as the non-visor header does NOT have the inserts inside that you screw the visor hardware to. I bought mine from the woman out west; I can't remember her name right now, but I picked it up when she was at Carlisle...

Evo 80, As far as I can tell yoiur stuff should fit my car just fine. I want to do a little more checking on it. Does anyone here know if there is a problem with the '80 parts fitting my '71 ??? Also, how much do you want for the whole shebang ? Thanks again, Bernie O.

I need to purchase the Spare Tire Carrier for my '71. I need EVERYTHING ! I mean the upper 'glass cover, the lower 'glass tub with the metal 'Y' strap, to all the bolts that hold it all together. I mean there is NOTHING there. I know I can get most opf it from Corvette Central, Paragon...

If they are in as good condition as you say, buy all three ! Then drive them for a while and see which one (or two) you like the best and sell the rest ! The LT-1's (even the '72's) are starting to bring serious money, and convertibles will NEVER go out of style ! Just my US$0.02 Bernie O.

I had to take one off about a year after I put it on: just put a piece of cardboard behind it and pry it off with a screwdriver, came right off. Was a little bit of a PITA to clean it out when I got ready to re-install, but still better than falling off all the time. Bernie O.

Mine used to fall off about every third time I shut the door; drove me nuts. Tried several different clips, I finally just put a dab of Perma-Tex inside the lock knob and it's been fine ever since. Kind of a "Bubba" fix, but I haven't even THOUGHT about it unitl I saw your post. Bernie O.
