I belive the Max air postion provides air recirculation where Normal position continues to use outside air. Here in Oklahoma when its 102 in the shade, I don't get much A/C at all. I sloved the problem by purchasing a brand new 08 which I will drive on the "hot days". ;LOL

What are the symptons for this problem, going to the dealer tonight and if I need to get in line for these parts might as well do it tonight.

So has any one actually used this product?

Offically the 08 is the wife's car the 76 is mine, but!!!!

Lat night was first night with the new 08, I went out in the gargare three times just to look at it, got the same feeling each time. It really looks great sitting next to the '76'.

I did a little reasearch and was told that this kit was needed to install the after market unit, Metra 95-3304, not 100% sure this is the correct kit but I am very sure you will need something like this for which every aftermarket unit you install. Oh yeah picked up the new car on Friday:D

Has anyone installed an in-dash after market Nav system in their 08? Wonder where to get the best deal and what type of unit to install, recommendations would be nice. Thanks

Thanks, Jason that is what I understand also, this is not a daily driver so should not get to much ware and tear and we are undicided about how long we will keep it, so still considering the extended warranty. Thanks again

I just purchased our new 08, Victory Red with Cashmere interior, chrome wheels its beautiful. The dealer is trying to sell me the GPP additional warranty, $1200. Does anyone have any recommendation good or bad about purchasing this additional warranty?

Ok, I got my system all repaired charged up and running, it does blow cool air but I don't get much air flow seems like there is no difference in the fan switch positions the only place I get any air flow is in the high postion, is there some way to check out the fan to make sure it is acutally...
