    replace the Heater core

I wouldn't put that or any other stuff in the system.....water ALWAYS wins and you eventually end up tearing it out just to leave that slime in the walls of your system. I did mine in an afternoon with AC....my only advise is to remember that there is a screw that is attached from inside the...

I want to print a multi-page thread and seem to be able to only print one page at a time. Is there a way to print the entire thread at one time? The thread I am looking to print is 25 pages long. TIA gang :w Chas

Warning! Mid - America car cover disaster

Why attack MAM? I can understand making a statement to warn folks of an issue, but the manufacturer of the cover should be the one to contact not the retailer, unless it was a MAM made product. I personally have never had an issue with MAM , I just don't understand why the OP feels they are...

    Fuel pump

My year may differ but I had the same issue with an Edelbrock pump, i used a 90 degree brass fitting from the hardware and it works great. A dab of light grease will keep the pin in your block when you go to put it back together. Chas:w

    Using a tap and die

Look inside the die and there is a taper in the i.d. that guides it into the threads........this is the starting side.....use a light cutting oil and don't force it,let it cut... turn it a quarter turn then back it up a bit, turn it a little further and back it up....repeat until it is free...

Battery....which is the way to go, opinions needed.

Will a volt meter tell me if its other than the clock? it just started lasting a few weeks recently, usually it took longer to require a charger. I rebuilt the clock with a quartz conversion and it keeps perfect time if not for the battery issue. Had surgery recently and have yet to roll more...

Battery....which is the way to go, opinions needed.

It seems hard to understand but my battery is dead again...and again. Seems its always this way, charge it up and i am good for a few weeks but now it has been 4 years and I think the dry cell is toast. I am going to have to replace it and use a tender or disconnect my clock. The clock is the...

    Looking to buy

The first car you posted is a "rare" '73???? www.countryclassiccars.com%2Fca...spcars_278.htm<%2FFONT>&jsonp=vglnk_jsonp_13148828114961 Why is it dealers call any older vette rare? That 73 looks pretty used for that price.....IMHO. Good luck in your search dude :w

    Looking to buy

I wish to thank you also for your service dude! As for the vette, it would be best to use your free time to do your research online to help decide whats right for you. Regardless of rarity or such, the ride for you is just that.....YOUR feel for it, your gut feeling at the test drive.... You...
