May be a bit diffrent clearances between years......
I have a couple Edlebrock parts under my hood with no issue.Performer carb and manifold both work with mine.I even had to custom make a flange that would accept the air cleaner properly that actually raises it a 1/2 inch or so extra...Its a...
Mine are tight as can be :thumb When I installed them they came with a rubber "T" shaped anchor with a threaded nut inside. Drilled two holes using the included template and pushed the anchors into the hole. Put the mounting bracket on it and screw it down, which draws the rubber anchor up and...
I did this on my '73 and the only thing out of the usual stuff was that there was a nut that had to be removed from inside the engine compartment on the fire wall. As stated take your time and be extra careful removing things. Give yourself the weekend to complete it......not a bad chore tho...

Amazing back ground and what a cool place to have a wad of Corvettes!
Very nice photos....:upthumbs
Try stopping and pulling on the belt at the same time in an American car. Its the same concept as a uk car...the forward motion of your body created when the brake is applied engages the stop mechanisim...maybe American cars have a diffrent sensitivity.

I had mine apart and addressed the bulbs.... i had more than one that was burnt out and put new ones in and it works much better than before. After 30 or so years they tend to wear out I guess.
As I recall I had it apart to install new dash speakers....now THAT was hard to do with large hands.:L
IMO,The bulbs may be covered in years of dust or such, I would suggest if you have the chance to take the dash apart enough to remove all of the bulbs and either clean or just replace them with new as they are not very expensive.

I like Canada and it being a good neighbor...
I personally Thank Canada for being a good neighbor (neighbour).......:upthumbs
