Help! Driver Door Will NOT Open

This may not help but....... My outer door handle spring seemed "lazy" and I bought one of these little repair "clips" or "spring" to easily install in a matter of seconds. It was basically a 1/2" by 2" pc of spring steel shim stock that was just pushed into it and it worked perfectly for...

    1973 Vette pass seat rocks

There is a nut for a seat bolt under the car that has an access to it thru a hole in the frame, the rear outer bolt( this applies to both seats). It has a washer attached to it so it wont fall thru a box end wrench. I would take it out and find out why it rocks regardless. Maybe it is missing or...

    1973 or 1979

Yeah I am biased, but remember also, the '73 still had a fiberglass floor bottom so when the T-tops leak it didn't rust out the floor...but again they never leak, Eh?;) I have seen some floors that the seat was ready to drop out of in later sharks......

A little yellow info for ya dude:beer GM released two different Yellows in 1973 code 952 Yellow and code 953 Metallic Yellow. The 1974 C3 Vette had no chrome bumpers, and only had code 956 Bright Yellow. The 1975 production was the last year for a convertible corvette in the C3 body style. GM...

    1973 or 1979

73 There were more '79s than any other year ever, I believe this to be the highest year of production. My choice would be the '73, but I'm biased! ;) Base hp in 73 was 195 hp w/o emissions trash.... Good luck, either way you can't go wrong. Chas

    T-Tops?

If you look where your current tops lock down in the rear of it you will see a triangle shaped screw fitting. This unscrews and the new top has a pin that fits into the hole that remains. The new tops only lock down in the front. Do yourself a favor and buy them new as opposed to used or ebay...
