    Wanna see my BUTT!!!

Hey everyone, jus wanted to pass on something. I noticed a bottle of isopropyl alcohol in the pic. Probably was used to prep the area for adhesion. Denatured alcohol, preceded by mineral spirits is a much better way to go. Isopropyl leaves a film and does not promote good adhesion. If you...

    Vanity PL8

I vote no vanity plate. Makes the car that much cooler.

    They Just Look Better Lowered

Lowering the C5 is the best and cheapest mod that you can do. The air dam scrapes with or without lowering the car anyway. Handles so much better lowered. And it does'nt look like a 4x4. I can't believe guys actually scrape thier rockers on a car that is NOT lowered. That's just not paying...

Polishing continually gives you muscles. And therapy.

wheels ... strip the finish ???

I'm so misunderstood, haha. This thread went right down the tubes, lol. What was it about again? How awsome the chrome ZR-1 wheels are, I think.

wheels ... strip the finish ???

That was a cool polished aluminum blower, and polished aluminum wheels in the Chrome video, hilarious.

wheels ... strip the finish ???

Obviously, they are cheaper for production purposes, and much easier to maintain. Oh, and how dare you throw a ZR-1 in my face, haha. I would NEVER disrespect the wheels that come on the King of the Hill.

wheels ... strip the finish ???

Polished aluminum looks way better that chrome. Chrome looks and is cheap. Spend the extra time and effort on the do it yourself project and you will have an extra set of awsome, polished wheels that you did yourself. It's a classy, quality look.

    Question: Increasing horsepower

4:10's would be nasty. 3:73's are a good compromise.

    Question: Increasing horsepower

you will barely notice the gear change on the highway with the overdrive in the Vette. The Demon's tranny had no overdrive. There are conversion charts on the web that you can plug the gear change ratio into and it will tell you how much higher the engine rpms will be at certain speeds.

    Question: Increasing horsepower

You know it Bucket, ring gear all the way. Changes the whole car. But no one listens. CAI's and catback s are great, but if you wanna move, do a ring gear mod.

    Cracked Rims

Hello 65-to-00, I have plenty of experience with three piece wheels, and I can help you with advice. The problem is that I don't understand the question? How can I help?

    seat problem

Hello everyone. I have a problem with my driver seat. The up and down does not work. All other functions of the 6-way seat work. Any insight would be great. It's stuck at the lowest height and I need to raise it up somehow. Trying to avoid an expensive fix. Thank you.

forged alu (big $$) vs chrome ????????

It's all about the weight when it comes to paying big money for wheels. Rolling resistance of unsprung weight kills performance. The opposite is also true. If you mount wheels that are lighter than stock you will notice a difference. While your at it, going a little wider (Z06 sizes) is a...

    Lazer readings

I guess Bwing has never been over 65mph on the hwy, or over any speed limit for that matter, because that would give a police officer a reason to pull you over. How bout it Bwing? Ever been over the speed limit?

    Yes sir, Bwing.

    Lazer readings

My radar detector has saved me 100+ times. It goes off way before the police are in my vision. Usually, at least an 8th of a mile away from the radar post. I never travel without it. Of course a cop is going to say that they don't work.
