    Need expert opinion

If you reside in Florida, there are numerous vettes for sale at that price with half the miles, and without the mentioned problems. You might want to assess your desire for a 6-speed. I have heard all the arguments (I own a 6-speed '93 ruby vert). The 6-speed can be a nuisance in traffic...

    Door striker adjustment question.

    Door striker adjustment question.

Door adjustment Welcome to the club, Tommy. Determined to fix a minor door flex in my '93 vert, I, also, read the GM manual about repositioning the striker. Observing the same scenario you mention, the striker is not adjustable, I contacted Gordon Killebrew for his recommendation. His 'fix'...

Starter Problem Again...Help would be appreciated

Another thought, check the starter mounting holes to see if they have become elongated from corrosion or wear.

Starter Problem Again...Help would be appreciated

I wasn't sure from your post that ALL the starters worked fine the first few times. I made the assumption that maybe one starter worked at first, and the others just made 'noise'. One could surmise that the starters 'moved' after the install, but it doesn't follow that you didn't tighten each...

Starter Problem Again...Help would be appreciated

It would appear that you have eliminated the starter (including solenoid and bendix spring) as your problem. Since the 'noise' did not appear until you started replacing starters, it is possible that the new starters have not been properly aligned to mesh with the ring gear on the flywheel...

    Exhaust system for my 96

I highly recommend Performance Peddler for the MagnaFlo mufflers. The cost is about $360 (includes shipping), if you mention you are a forum member, which is about a $100 savings. Do not buy off his Ebay auction, as the discount cannot be applied. Mufflers are high quality polished stainless...

    need help with lumbar

I will take some photos of the pages and email them to you. Due to the small print, and limited space in which the explosion diagrams are pictured, it may be difficult to decipher the procedure. Removing the seat from the seat-back entails sliding your hand between the two, and feeling for...

    need help with lumbar

If your pump is working properly, and the bladders are only slightly inflating, then there must be a ruptured bladder that won't hold pressure. The only solution is to remove the seat back from the upholstery. The GM manual describes the removal of the seat back for access to the bladders...

    Sport Seat Question

That's good, but you might check to see why the connections broke off. Was it because of careless cleaning under the seat, have the tubes been shortened not allowing free movement of the seat, does the seat track clear the tubes when it is moved, etc.? There is no reason for the breakage...

    Sport Seat Question

Here is a link to MAD for sport seat components: http://www.madvet.com/shop?frame=3.6084 If the nipples are broken from the air diverter, they could still be in the tubes, or on the carpet. If so, you might try gluing (http://www.gorillaglue.com/gGlue.html)...
