Radar I have used Valentine 1 & currently using Escort Passport 8500. Both are very nice and I believe the Valentine can be upgraded when new technology comes out. Only downside is you have to send them your unit.

I think you got a good deal, Be Happy with it And dont look back at the prices. When I bought my 86 the late 70's prices were falling now and coming back up. Remember that car will never be a 67 big block that people stored to make money. Drive and enjoy what you have thats what its all about.
