Not Thrilled, but nice!
They could have redone the;shrug nose period. The rest is pure smoke and mirrors. And it also tells us what GM thinks of the vette!

By the way the new Callaway is just awesome!
Awesome Simply Awesome !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Now this is what the C7 should look like with maybe a little change to the rear lights.
If the C6 looked something like this l would be driving it for sure. Still not in love with the C6 skin yet. Everything else is just fine.

Great choice!
The difference between the C5 and the C4 is vast but l miss my 96 for some reasons but not enough to regret the move up to a C5.
All the luck in the world

Looking for a little more of a throaty sound
Hey
Thanks, as far as the weight difference, it's meaningless to me. What l was looking for is an exhaust note a little deeper then the stock one (2002) without going to a Corsa for example.
I also realize the Ti exhaust will sound different on a...
Hi
Forget that it is approx 18 lbs lighter, what is the difference in sound and does it have any other benefit's.
Is it a bolt on exhaust so if l swap out my orig exhaust l can put the orig exhaust back in later on.
Thanks

GM is ready for a Swan Dive
They have too many bean counter's instead of car lovers on their payroll. They are like monkey see monkey do. I unloaded all of my GM stock in my pension plan years ago and if l didn't l would be working for a lot longer to make up my loses.
The only way for GM to...
GM is in trouble and they know it.
So whatever they do it's purely for survival. If they thought that they could sell it under the name of Corvette Stingray they will.
Look at Mercede's and Porsche they both offer vehicles with their name on it just to sell them. And it works.
The Boxster...
Mental Masturbation for sure!
Why doesn't chevy come up with a better place for a front license plate and do something constructive. This Bowtie things is the thought of a loser with no other idea's.
Put a person who understands the car business at the helm of GM already instead of the...
A Big Welcome from the NorthEast
I am sure you will enjoy the forum but you will have to put up with a little ribbing from time to time.
Red, now there is only one red and it's "Torch Red" the other reds are really burgandys.
But a sweet looking ride l must say.

Hi
If you don't have a deflector then protect your windshield. The cab will protect the front of your vette.
Also a better idea go to your dealership and ask them if you can buy the transport wrap used when a new vette is transported from the factory.
It is a lightly padded, adhesive back...
Boy is it strange that all of the pristine or most of them come out of OHIO.
I guess the weather there has something to do with it.
This was a major steal, good luck to the new owner.
Alan
Surprised to see so many for sale so soon !
Either they made a lot more then l am aware of or people realize they don't need that much hp to drive around town. With interest rates climbing and people concerned about their jobs it's going to be a tough sell if the dealers are going to add their...
Hi
I also had the spitfire which nothing more then a go-cart, but boy could it handle turns.
It felt like l was taking turns at 50mph when l was really only going 30 mph and l felt like l was sitting right off the ground. This was probably the worst reliable car l have ever owned.
Alan
Hi
Your wife may be closer to the truth then you realize. A vette in vert or coupe form is not a true sports car by no means. It has too many creature comforts for sure.
The last true sports car that l had was an MGA 1600 with power nothing and no a/c. It was slow, uncomfortable and handled...
Metallic paint is a killer to work with !
But to answer your question NO. As long as you use lacquer paint the worst thing that can happen is waste your time and $.
The blue on your vette and cycle seem to be metallic. But what you can do is blob on the lacquer paint and let it sit for 3/4...
