    Convertible, Targa, Z06, Z51

My choice is convertible with the F55 option (Magnetic Selective Ride Control).

    Convertible Question??

I agree with you on that. I always felt a Corvette C5 provides just the right amount of turbulence. That is, it doesn't beat you to death when driving with the top down but you definitely get the wind-in-your-hair feeling. That's a combination that's hard to beat!:_rock C:wRVETTE...

    Lowered C5's - Your Thoughts

TO LOWER OR NOT TO LOWER. THAT IS THE QUESTION. Low is the only way to go. I don't understand why the factory put such a big gap between the top of the tires and the fender openings. If they hadn't, we wouldn't be having this discussion now. I also realize that some of this decision is based...

    Bad wreck pic

We live in Newton, NC and I did not hear anything about this on the news. It is shocking to see something such as this and should definitely be a reality check for everyone. C:wRVETTE

    Opinions on Brake lights

I don't get it. Years ago, everybody wanted Frenched taillights. Now that the C5 has them, some people want flush taillights?:confused C:wRVETTE

    2 or 4 Exhaust Tips?

I decided on the Borla Quad Round Stingers because I feel like it looks like it fills up the indention under the bumper for the exhaust. With two pipes, it looks empty.:cool C:wRVETTE

    Colors, Colors, Colors

White looks so sanitary when cleaned up. Emblems stand out on a white car as do taillights. And chrome wheels or other items look their best when contrasted against white paint. And not to open a can of worms, but I feel the contrast of Torch Red interior on an Arctic White C5 is inexplicably...

Electron Blue vs. Le Mans Blue!

Nope, not the same. The LeMans Blue on Corvettes now is much darker than the '69 Z/28.:cool C:wRVETTE

How exactly do you make a stock 350 into a 383 stroker

Yes, the 400 does have a 3.75" stroke crankshaft. It gains its extra cubic inches because the bore is 4.125". This actually yields 400.92215 cubic inches but Chevrolet still called it a 400 instead of a 401. C:wRVETTE

How exactly do you make a stock 350 into a 383 stroker

If you bore a 350 block by .030" and change to a 3.75" stroke crankshaft, this will yield 382.66808 cubic inches, commonly referred to as the 383. This same engine but without the overbore (standard bore of 4.00") would be a 377. Boring doesn't add all that much to the cubic inches. Stroking...
