The easy way to remove the emblems is by sliding fishing line under the emblem and pull it around the emblem. Second, when installing the new emblem do not remove the plastic covering the adhesive. Trim it so it does not show from the front. This way if you want to wax the car just remove the...
Many years ago I had a '77 with the chrome beauty rings on the wheels. I used to have a simular problem from them not being seated all the way on the wheel. If yours has the beauty rims remove them and drive it around and see if the clicking goes away.
The Corsa exaust cat back system sounds very good on stock exaust manifolds. If it is your intent to sometime in the future install headers don't get a Corsa system, you won't like the results.
The C5 was designed for the middle aged. Wide seats to match the butt. It was refined to match the buyer. The C4 makes you feel as if you are part of the car. Besides the C5 has a fat butt looking rear end.:L
A word of advice, If you get new tires go home and loosen each wheel lug nut and retighten each one in incriments mentioned above. Raised up of course. Most of those knuckleheads at tire stores set there air wrenchs above 100 lbs. and start in a circular pattern, which is a good way to warp a...
I replaced my 3:45 gears with Dana 3:91 and with the porting, headers, corsa, reset cams and programming my HP peaks at 397 at 5500 rpm and only falls off to 394 at 7000 rpm. The dynoing was at 91 degrees.
With stock gears you cannot top end in 4th because you will redline. You cannot top end in 6th because of the rpm drop off. With that in mind I would not personally call 5th an over drive gear. In MHO of course.
If I may add 6th gear is over drive in a mostly stock car. To get deep in triple digits you need horses, lots of them and that will happen in 5th not 6th. Before my recents upgrades I rarely used 6th gear.
Go to the ZR-1 registry site. There are a lot of ZR-1 gearheads hang out there. If there is sound advice to be had you will get it there and confirm Hib's answer.

When my ZR1 was stock I settled on a Corsa system. It sounded throaty on start, quiet when cruising (no resononse) and noticable under wide open throttle. However, South Georgia Corvette has the car now and Aaron Scott says when he gets finished I probably won't like how it sounds and should...
I remember Walt's Puffer at the Detriot dragway in the early 60's. If I remember correctly he owned an auto parts store. I was from Garden City back then. Does that ever bring back memories.
