Have you tried Leatherique. I have used it for years and have no complaints. They have a WEB site about their products. I have used it on my seats at car shows and nobody can believe how good they look.

The horse power ratings maybe up there for the other cars but look at their weight. The mustang is about 400# heavier than the ZO6. I think it even outweigh's my ZR1.

Speed bleeders Invest in speed bleeders. They are great. You can change all the fluid in about 20 minutes, and by yourself. I installed mine when I changed brake hoses. One of the best ideas anybody ever came up with!

Were the holes drilled for the studs on the emblem or clipped off and just glued on? What ever looks good to you.

The valet key only disables the secondaries. It has nothing to do with the drivability.

I bought the F1 GS D3's and what a difference than the old factory tires. Your problem might be getting caught in the snow in winter. They are not recommended for snow. Great in dry and rain, they hook up very nicely.

My '92 is basically the same. I jacked the drivers rear up and let the suspension lower the tire to give room and remove the rear portion of the wheel well liner.

If you go with changing the harness only go with a new one. Removing one from one car to another will cause problems with shorts, exposed wire and other electrical problems.

Leaving the key all the way in the ignition will definately draw down the battery. The key all the way in signals all the micro-procers, from the computer, to get ready to to start. If you must put your key in only put in half way and the ECM will not be signaled.

One thing to remember is when you drive it the ZR1 power band is best in the 5 grand + range. By this I mean when you test drive it and you are 30 mph in 4th and nail it it may not seem all that quick. If you want to really get a feel for it, at 60 mph pull it back in 2nd nail it and smile...

I thought of the brake lines, they are original as far as I know. I tried to rock the car using each front wheel and both sides seemed to be locked up but only the left front smoking. I'll order the brake lines anyway because like you I have heard of them collapsing internally trapping...
