    Callaway Twin Turbo ZR1

Simply awesome car! Interesting wheel choice too. I used to have a set of 6-star RW wheels on my '85. I haven't heard of that wheel company in a long time. Jay

    Banned from Ebay

Looks like a really sweet car too. How's the $28,000 on that car. Is that a little high or is it ballpark? Jay

    454....will if fit???

It'll fit..........with a heck of a lot of modification (to the 84-89). I've got a Corvette Fever article laying around somewhere on an '86 that was fitted with a big block and it was awesome. I'd sure love to have one done. Imagine the sound of that Jay

    Who insures your ZR-1 ?

I was with Allstate then switched to Progressive. My curent policy is up and it looks like I'm switching again. Leland West gave me a great quote online but I'm sure that will change a bit when I call over the phone because their website asks very general questions. I was just wondering who...

    The Tornado

Oh yeah, I remember now. I really can't see how that would be any help.

    Need Auxilliary Fan help.....

If I remember correctly, the auxillary fan comes on automatically if the motor gets up to an unusually high temperature. In my L98 car, I ran my auxillary fan hot to the battery with a toggle switch that I wired in by the shifter. Are you looking for it to run all the time? Jay

    Wheels

I think your buddy has 18in wheels in the rear. You might want to look into that before you buy. Jay

    Intake runners by SLP anyone?

A friend of mine ran the siamesed runners on his highly modified '85. If I remember correctly, he ordered them from Summit Racing for around $270. I don't know if siamesed runners alone will give you any improvement. The new runners will be calling for more air and your stock throttle body can...

    type of oil to use

I also run Mobil synthetic. I used to use 5W-30 in my '85 L98. I currently run 10W-30 in my ZR Jay

Not sure about your emergency brake but as far as seat cover go, you can try Mid-America (http://www.madvet.com/) Jay

Can't lower temp with climate control

Luckily I didn't replace anything. One day the AC just stopped blowing cold air. The motor works fine though. After I reconnected the battery it somehow resets itself and all has been fine ever since. Jay

383 Long block finished.....black is beautiful

The motor looks awesome Chris! Jay

Can't lower temp with climate control

Weird things can happen from just unplugging the battery. I've had it fix an AC problem in the past also:D Jay

Where in IL is there a good 98 Vette Tech?

Try D&M Corvette in Downer's Grove. http://www.dmcorvette.com/ I believe they do all kinds of work specifically to Corvettes Jay

    overheating

Try cleaning in front of the radiator between the air condensor and radiator. Sometimes if it is pretty clogged with junk your radiator doesn't get the proper air flow. Also, how old if your thermostat? Is it possible it's sticking? Jay

    Disk Warping

That sounds like a definate possiblity. When you jack the car up, do the front wheels spin freely? Jay
