I'm afraid so. I pay too much for parking and don't have easy access to the car. I am looking into options but I might have to take a couple years off from the Vette and come back at a later time.

Drove the Vette to work today. Sure was nice to let her stretch her legs a bit. Since many people have the day off today the commute was nice and easy and I didn't have to worry about stop and go on the 76. And to think that I'm tossing around the idea of selling it...

I can't believe the premium that they want to charge for these manuals. Get your official GM shop manuals from Helm Inc. Helm prints the manuals for the different OEMs. Mad Vet selling them for $190 when you can get them directly from Helm for $135. Way to rip off the enthusiast.
Get 2000...
Thanks for the response. I will have to look into contacting them. Don't need anything done at the moment, but it's better than waiting until I need it! :)

Any owners in the Philadelphia area that have a preferred Chevy dealer for service? I spent a lot of money on my car before the move so I shouldn't need to do too much for a while. But I want to check this out sooner rather than later. I was fortunate to have a great Corvette tech in Florida...
I know many of you remember me as a Florida boy, but now that I'm in the NE again I have to choose when I can and can't drive the car.
Saturday morning was beautiful! Took a cab over to the parking garage and got my car. When she came down the ramp I realized how crappy she looked from all...
All the time and it's annoying. There are times I wish I could turn off the Laser detection. ;) Of course I haven't gone through the manual to see if I can disable it.
Andre, thanks for the information on the V1. Here's some info on the Escort.
Many people assume the Escorts are "regular" detectors and that they aren't capable of tracking more than one signal. The Escorts (8500 and 7500) have an Expert Mode that allows you to track up to 8 signals plus the...

Your car is getting to a point where parts aren't being carried. If you call them they can likely help you out.

Interesting. Looks like I got out just in time. I wonder why FL is trying to outlaw detectors?
I have an Escort 7500S which has served me very well.
I'm always curious of the "arrows are better" statement. Don't you slow down if you get an alert? Or do you check the arrows first and then...
I like the look with some contrast as others have stated it. Here's a shot of UB2SLOW's C4 with black C5Z rims. Looks good with his color scheme. I've ridden in his car, it's one fast MoFo. :)
I think this would look good on my Pewter FRC with some other dark accents.

All you have to say is that you don't like it. There's no need to degrade anyone's ride for how he chooses to personalize his car. In fact, if you read through the thread you can find many people that said that they did not like the look in a civilized way.

Edit: BTW, all caps is...
Mine does this on occasion as well but my battery is new within the last couple years. I would think this would be more grounding point related than battery?
