TC off and you're completely at the mercy of your Vette (traction control AND active handling are off).......In competitive mode you still retain active handling.

Between the two you mention, I'd say the difference is purely cosmetic. Upside may be that the K&N filters are readily available but both brands are easily cleaned and re-oiled if needed.

I've never experienced any noise/ride issues with the stock runflats. The majority of any lengthy driving I do with the Vette is highway.

For whatever reason it seems that if the car is going to sit more than a few days, I keep it on a phase charger. Recently talked to a Porshe owner and their cars really need the same ritual. Kind of goofy that we need to do this but it does work well.I just have the charger plugged in and pop...

In the recent past I'm hearing good things about the Exide orbital battery. I have a redtop now but would likely try the exide if I needed a battery.....
