AC Repair If you can repair the leak they sell a drop in refrigerant for R12 its called R420B works great and you dont have to worry about changing the refrigerant oil.Its much cheaper than R12.

Im replacing the carpet and door panels. I want everything to match in color which is med. red.My ? is do all the supply houses get the carpet and door panels from a common supply or do they have there own version of colors. I just want to be sure the colors match. Any help would be appreciated.

shocks I have an 81 vette I have tried all kinds of shocks .I now use the RSCI adjustable gas shock from Mid America.The are great I can change the ride either soft or stiff.This is the best my vette has handled.There are nine different adjustments I set the front on 5 and the back on 7 Great ride.

macgyver There is three 81 shop manauls for auction on ebay right now.Or any of the corvette supply houses ecklers, mid america etc will have them but you can get a better deal on ebay.Just punch in 1981 corvette in the search box and it will take you to all the 81 stuff.

vetteman Again I would invest in a shop manaul. It clearly states that the correct dist. for an 81 vette has both vacuum advance as well as centrifgal advance and I can tell you it does because I replaced it. If yours doesnt maybe someone changed the dist. Now you are correct about the carb ...

Jeremy I had the same problem there at CC wont use them anymore.Try ecklers they should have what you need. They have a core program for steering wheels and you can get them pretty quick it may cost you $10. more but you get it when you need it.
