It really is a good story that the guy got his Corvette back, but it surely would be a better story if GM would restore the car for him. He now has a car that is 33 years older and run down.

I am not a fan of the convertible. I think a spider would have been better. The car was designed from the beginning to be a convertible, why not just make it a spider? If it was done right, you aren't adding that much more weight.

Cars can hold a very important place in a person's life. While I agree that they are "just cars", we are on here because we all have a love of Corvettes and we hate to see them damaged like this.
