Even in the gas crisis in the 70's Corvettes had V8's. We don't have a gas crisis now or even a global warming problem. I love the sound of a V8. They sound awesome when they drive by. No one says,"Listen to the sound of that sweet V6!"

Gotta admit, I like the interior of the Mustang better than that of the Vette, but the final result was really not a surprise.

If I remember, the earlier C4 years 84-87 or 88 had nylon gears so they may need replacing as well. I replaced the bushings in mine last year. Thanks for posting about the headlight replacements, Brian, I was thinking about that, but since I don't drive it much at night it hasn't been a concern.

I would love to see the Corvette become more affordable with some updated styling and some upgrades on the interior. I would rather spend the 50k on a Corvette rather than anything else in the same price range. I don't care what people think of it or me. I would proudly drive it anywhere...
