I would try to retap the hole with a larger size, if it works great, if not your no worse off then you are now. Just keep an eye out for oil drops on the ground beneath the car for a while in case it doesn't work properly.

Like everything in the engine compartment that is metal, it will be to hot to touch after the engine warms up. I'd say if the idiot lights arn't comming on then you are probably OK.

Hi All, I just changed my coil (MSD 8225) cap (MSD 8411) and rotor (MSD 8410), and now my tach does not work properly. It runs fine until about 2000 rpm, then drops off. Any ideas on why this would happen?

If you are comparing a 70/71 vert vs an 81, hands down the 70/71 is a better investment. They are already worth a whole lot more, and they are 10 years older, which will only improve over the years, but you have to pay a lot more for the earlier shark in good condition. You will see the 81's...

I would tend to agree with Skant on this one, try it in 1st, unless you know it is a fast course, then put it in 2nd. The problem I have with my auto is sometimes it downshifts from 2nd to 1st while cornering, then has to shift back into 2nd right away, when I'd prefer it to just stay in 2nd. It...
