Ok...well the first letter indicates it was built at the Flint plant on June 8th and there is no CF code so is it possible you are seeing a CT code? If it is a CT then what you have is a 283 CI 245 HP engine that was mated with a 4M trans.......or maybe a 3 speed......

Yeah you can save your money and buy a Garmin unit that works at Wal-Mart or do it the old fashioned way with a road map like I do.........I also carry the Garmin in my GS to get me to addresses....GM unit is junk....

Glad to help out.....the air box drain is the one that will get you first and is directly responsible for water getting into the passenger side foot well. Had it happen to me once and caught it just in time before it could get into the electronics......

Once a year is good enough on the oil change. I put 7K on my GS last year and changed out the filter at about 3500 miles. That is probably overkill but it made me feel better.....:D Welcome to Corvette world.....
