In noses, is the YES list shorter than the NO (AVOID AT ALL COSTS) list?

Its for a friend's 78, Pace Car, Automatic, 220 hp engine, Canadian export (km/H on the spedo).

But it sounds like sometimes the Tach doesnt respond at all sometimes.

knew that was too high and that it wasnt shifting on thru the gears for cruising.
Perhaps its never had a filter/fluid change
