Don't know. I have not been through a life expectancy of any rotor. They seem to be doing well.
And no, they don't have any crackes.
FYI Mercedes uses cross drilled from the factory, so they can not be as bad as a lot of people say.
I am still using factory pads....I am open to suggestions...
Thanks.
In that case, I managed to pick up OEM wheels! Cool. I thought so, but I wanted to make sure.
$500 for a set of 4 (9.5 all the way around) in really good condition.
how can you tell a reproduction wheel from a factory one? what markings?
I bought a set of CE 9.5's last week. Got a really good deal, but just curious if they are OEM or repros.
Thanks
Thanks. the 3" is nice, but I need to get rid of the drone at 2000. If I have to, i might go back to 2 3/4.
I just don't want to be pushed up in class at autocross for exhaust. That whole learning curve thing. I don't want to be in with people that are going to severely out drive me on the...
i have been wonder about this very thing. Thanks.
I have 73K on mine, and I am thinking it is the original clutch. I don't know how much longer it will go.
czissman...how many miles on your clutch?
Yes, 95 and 96 all came with 13" brakes up front.
I bought a 13" setup for my 92, and what a difference it makes!!!! (ok, I also put on cross drilled rotors at the same time) I had to relearn how to brake. I was stopping 1 1/2 car lenghts short at stop lights.
Yes they do look big...
I had that happen too. Don't be too hard on yourself.
I was doing an oil change and could not get the filter off. (tried at least 3 different types of filter gadgets) I was not comfortable jamming the screwdriver in it in case it still didn't want to come off. I ended up taking it to the...

I have a Q for you. What is the stock exhaust diameter for LT1 (1992)? I bought it with a KBD 3" system on it. I thinking of redoing it, but at the same time, I want start autocross this year. I have heard that my 3" system will bump me to another class...
You all are great.
Thank you for all the contacts. I will start mailing letters asap.
I owe each of you a drink.
I will let you know how the fight progresses.

I have had them check the crank. Supposedly, it is ok with run-out and endplay (don't have the exact #'s with me at...
OK, so after several attempts by the dealer to fix the jumping serpentine belt (that was caused by a dealer), it is still not fixed.
The hub and balancer have been replaced (again), along with the tensioner, idler and p/s pulley.
Everything has been inspected at least once.
The...
I am going back today, and I will have them check the bracket again. (it has been checked at least twice before.)
I am running out of patience with this.
Mike
I have been trying to reach the Area Rep, but I can not get through. There is a buffer layer, and the Rep will not call me.
The hub and balancer that were taken off ran perfectly true since they were machined. The difference between the 2 assemblies was 0.020" in stack height. (Hub and...
