    New Carb

Sound's like a low float level, or a plugged main jet. The pump pick's up from the bottom of the float chamber.

    New Carb

I still think it's one of these three. If it only run's when choked that mean's it's not getting the gas it need's to keep running. Check your filter and gas pump or a large air leak. Do you have to keep pumping it to keep running after the choke is opened? Then I would check out the main jets...

    New Carb

Old Post : This one will rev up but it always stalls after the choke valve opens up (almost immediately) New post: but this only happens at idle not when I'm giving it some gas. I sort of have to pump it a bit to keep it going. Is the choke open or not? When shut off is there gas running down...

    dual mount rear spring 80-82

I put the set-up on my car. I had to change the shock's to match from VP&B, they do make a differance. I took off the KYB's. IM happy with my ride now with the performance package on with the off-set trailing arm's. Still looking for some rim's that would look nice. Thinking of Center Line...

    Oil Accumulators

From what I have been reading sound's like a preluber is the way to go. I think that mite be my next gift. Here are some site's that I looked up on the web. http://www.dodgeram.org/tech/engine/prelube_const.htm http://www.espperformance.com/RLElectronics/Preluberteststuff/Automotive.htm...

    New exhaust for my 81

Get the special radiator paint, the other can plug the openings and stop the flow thru the core. Good luck on the exhaust. Find a good welding shop or someone in racing, they do the welding all the time.

    Oil Accumulators

I use all Royal Purple product's in my car. I have a kill switch on my dash, I first turn it over once or twice for about 5 sec. first to get pressure, usually about 20 PSI, It sound's like there are no plug's in it ,from lack of friction and almost at 12.1 compression. It's also a small block...

    Oil Accumulators

Unless you have a turbo it's not worth the trouble. Get a PF932 oil filter it's a 2 qt. it will help with filtering and fit's above the oil pan. PF25 is 1qt., PF35 is 1 1/2 qt.

    Broken Bleeders

Are they rebuilt with stainless steel sleeve's? If not I question using them.

    Broken Bleeders

Try the new left twist drills with the easyout all in one I think from Sears. Then get the bleeder's with the check valve so it takes only 1 to bleed the brakes, and as a reminder do not tighten down so much.

Need more help with brakes please

I suggest doing both the line's and Master cyl. since you had particle's coming from the Master cyl. save some future time, and if you done the brake's it should be leaking fluid from the caliper and not just air sucking. Something don't sound correct, when pushing down it should leak fluid...

    Rear Wheel Bearings

The grease doe's move to the outer bearing from heat and centrifugal force. I just removed my trailing arm's and put on the off-set one's. It did have the new grease on the outer bearing's, it is a different color.

Need more help with brakes please

It sound's like the master is gone. The black is the dirt pass the normal working area of back and forth operation. The seal's are gone and bypassing passed the seal's allowing the dirt from over the year's of use, plus the "0" ring seal's are black. This will not give the pressure as the...

Need more help with brakes please

Are you bleeding the rear with the tire's on? There are 2 bleeder's on the rear. It may help to put the front in the air to help the air move on it's own, and tap on the caliper to help move any traped air. Put the hose, (IM assuming your using one so it don't squirt all over) in a small can or...

    Rear Wheel Bearings

Very easy. There is a tool for it. You have to put it up in the air, easiest way is a floor jack under the rearend, DO ONE AT A TIME, take off the axel shaft at the tire, then remove the cotter key, then remove the nut, slide off the spindel yoke, replace with the tool and nut, grease then...
