    '82' High performance 'chip'

all catalytic converter equipped cars have the air pump to feed air to the oxidyzing bed so yes, all 82s have it as it's part of the emissions control system. Do you have to elave it on? No not really but your cat won't function properly without it, only the reducing section will be operative...

    '82' High performance 'chip'

that's the 7747 ECM, a TBI ECM which' code is well hacked and available on the internet, there bins are out there so you can (w/ some learning) program your own stuff (burning proms, or buy a prominator and forget prom burning and erasing), is it a turbo city ECM (hefty overpriced 7747 w/ crimp...

    '82' High performance 'chip'

If it's that thin it's probably an 84 C4 ECM or a later model truck ECM, what's the # on it? 1225550 is the stock 82, 1227747 is the late model tbi one, can't remember the C4 # off the top of my head

Half shaft and bearing help needed

If you have all of those 4 nuts removed just slip a chisel between the bearing support and the arm, this stuff usually rusts solid and is a pita to break apart. Oh, the spindle castle nut is rounded off...that's kind of a problem. I'd say use the craftsman sockets in the prev. mentioned link

Half shaft and bearing help needed

You are trying to remove a nut on one of the 4 studs on the trailing arm right? (the stuff that's behind the parking brake stuff in front of the caliper bracket)???? If so, just use a small cuttind disc and cut the nut very close to the edge so you cut the front end off the stuf, you can then...

    Modifications

I'm looking for something that has some kind of thread pattern so i can sneakingly use them on the normal roads...true slicks are not an option and the hoosiers wear quite fast. Maybe some GoodYear DOT gatorbacks.

    Modifications

Kirkey does offer seat mounts (for use w/ roll cage tubes): I do have a cage :) Are you running slicks in those pics??? I like the stance and the look w/ the 16" wheels.

    Modifications

Coach, any pics of the kirkey seats? I'm ready to order some kirkey ultra light seats. Oh and pics of the wheels and slicks also? I have 16" rims also.

    Rear Wheel Bearings (parts needed?)

There's a maximum to how much you can turn them, it's cast into the rotor on the inside (if yout ake it off there's a " ridge" that's the parking brake drum on the rear...the numbers are in there) and no machine shop/brake shop will turn them below that amount for liability. These numbers...

    Rear Wheel Bearings (parts needed?)

Don't buy the tools from a big vendors, instead look up bid-quest on ebay, he has all the tools needed at very good prices...and his tools are top notch quality (I have most of them) Slip fitting is not something you want to do if you are not experienced in setting up proper bearing preload...

    Fuel Cell

The distance between the frame rails is about 1 meter, the distance from the rear frame bar to the rear compartment wall is about 46cm. A 22 gallon fuel safe tank will fit, a 32 gallon tank is a very close fit an may require a little trimming and fiberglass cutting here & there. Ol Blue, what...

    My rear sway bar

I agree....I really do not like that solution w/ the bulky outrigger thing hanging down like that, looks like a bridge construction.

    C3 B2k

Hey JP...it's going steady...as always, slow but steady :) I have the front & rear suspension finished, cage installed, front steer setup worked out....working on the details now.

    SBC Serpentine setup

I know someone who put an F-body serpentine system on his C3....from what I recall he had to do a little trimming here & there but nothing too bad.

    best suspension setup

Yes, I agree, balloon tires are bad for handling but a too small tire isn't a problem until it's too small by so much that the steel belt ring actually moves from the rim edge and lets air out. I actually have 11" front rims now, no way a 255 will fit that...but 10", I think it can be done...

    Experts!!! - Aaaarrrggghhh!!!

how did you set the TV cable? The stock operation is just a rough setting, don't do it like that...use a line pressure gauge.

    best suspension setup

I've got a couple of choices, BFG 295/50/16s or Cooper cobras in the same size, both are junk tires IMO. I could also set the wheels back to 10" and run a 275/60/16 Pirelli Scorpion but they're so tall..its' ugly in the front (29" tall) or just say ff it and run a 255/50/16 Goodyear F1 or...

    best suspension setup

YEa I got that but then you get 1 result, excellent you'd think but now click on the little tire pic, you'll get more info and somehow then the listing says 285 45 r18, this is confusing. Also I went by the local tire shop and the guy couldn't find any tires in that size either
