The black speedster is on Ebay again! It would be nice if a dedicated Callaway buyer would take this car home and give it a break from all this auction action!! :ugh :beer Ike
Luigi. Quit doing this to me.:confused I had just convinced myself that I had too many cars and the 87 plain jane T-Type was going to be sold this spring. I know from experience that the mint ones always pull up the rest of the market. Now I'm wondering if I should just keep it?? Ike
Eric: Cool pics. How does a Callaway AutoX? would think boost would be challenging on a short course? On boost / off boost? I have run some AutoX. It is a challenge with a NA car with stock set-up. :beer Ike
:cool This is my favorite color of the speedster but I'm on a no buy program :cry So no speedster for me. Would be cool to see someone in the COG group end up with the car and bring it back to pristine condition. :w
As another owner of a direct conversion car I find there is still a real lack of info and knowledge about these cars and without Callaways support and records believe that they could have slipped through the cracks of Corvette history. So 67heaven I thank you for your interest and questions are...
Congrats on the 89 6-speed convert!! I've made that choice twice now but still always look at nice ones. That color was my first choice when bought first when 10+ years ago. Couldn't find one I liked for sale with the 6-speed. Enjoy!! :beer
89X2 I think there was some Dymags I was watching from that area but they didn't meet reserve. Seller said he had two but was trying to sell individually. Quote price after action was very high! Have been mostly collecting nos parts and just watching Dymags.
tlong: Sorry to hear of your loss, will say a prayer for you and yours. Your a fortunate man to have enjoyed a great relationship with you mom. May those memories help sustain you at this time! Ike
love my hardtop except it is a real PITA when you travel with it on to get anything behind seats. It makes luggage rack like 89 sleeper has look real appealing for fall trips. Hope to also find one for my Callaway or may just keep the one I have now. The convertible/hardtops I've had of all...
So many great cars, So little time for any true car lover to try them all!!! :upthumbs Nice to see some of Callaways creations keeping good company!! Thanks for the pictures Chris :w Ike
:cool Wow that looks serious as a heart attack!!! A real hardcore more power attack :crazy I wouldn't want to be on the fine tuning team after its up and running. :L Nice work.
Both the 89's need different tires in the spring! I've been debating between Eagle F1 SC's and BFG G-Force KD's Both are good dry weather tires but leaning slightly towards BFG's because seem to look slightly better on C-4's ?? Have no idea which is quieter?? :beer Ike
