    Monty, you may want to check the fuel tank for debris. Sounds like you may have some junk floating around in your tank or something might have been blocking the intake at the fuel pump. Just my .02 cents.... Dave

    I have them on my 82 and love them.As far as brightness, use the next brighter size bulb. I forget the # right now...

    Or you could just move all the slide switches to the off position. That works too. :)

    I think you'll find that there is no ECM on a stock 80. It should also have a decent carb. Definately get rid of the cat.... Just my thought. Dave

    I did this on my 82 and plugged all the openings. No problems at all. ps ..the cat's gone too.

    Purchasing in state compared to out of state

    You pay the tax when you register the car,(at least in Mass.) You pay the tax figured on Blue Book value of the vehicle. You also pay a $50 title fee. Hope this helps, as most states are alike on this item. Dave

    This is from an old post. Here's the quick fix that I used on the 82. Take 2 legnths of radiator hose, slit them leghth ways and fit them over the ends of the seats where they meet. Fit them where it makes like a clam shell. Just look at your seats and you'll see where I mean. It moves the seat...
