I can't answer this question but will comment on the GPS. IMO unless you are getting a better radio the upgrade just for the GPS is not worth it. The GPS in my 06 is not nearly as good as the smartphone GPS app that I use.

I had the same issue last year when I needed to replace the rear tires on my standard C6. Discount Tire had a heck of a time getting me a pair.

I curbed my wheel last year. The repair cost was just under $250 and you can't tell. Significantly less than a new wheel.

Did you let it get warm? My 77's oil pressure ran somewhere around there at idle when cold but dropped back down once the engine heated up.

I had a chance to drive a 6 speed Vette in the mountains this weekend. To me it's a toss up. The paddle shifters make the experience very similar. And the automatic definitely wins when stuck in traffic.
