    Just a bunch of little things. Front Cranks seal leak, Oil coming up on the valve covers, and two mechanics say either bad rings and a knock. I have a compressin test and a leak down test; all cylinders 150+. The ar is 20 years old and I;m just looking to get back to a solid foundation.

    My passenger SIDE exhaust manifold (in the tube area that holds the air check valve) has developed a small crack and sometimes a mist of oil can seen on the tube. Can this repaired by welding or must it be replaced. Probably loking at headers if its un-repariable.

    you are correct i have a high flow watr pump. Thanks for the help I will check the things you mentioned above. Now that I thin about it, it would be impossible to install the t-stat upside down given the shape of it.

    Just finshed install of flowcooler water pump, shaw 180 t-stat, and new coolant. My idle speed has increased to 1100 rpm and the radiator fan does not turn on (would i get codes if bad fan relay?) on at any point, even after 30 minstes of driving. I'm wodering if my t-stat is installed wrong...

    1989 A/C BRACKET REMOVAL

    I'm in the process of replacing a bad waer pump and I was looking for advice on freeing the A/C bracket. I've removed all of the bolts I can see, are there any hidden ones that i'm just not seeing? This bracket is different from tmy old 1987 coupe.
