Looking for good tree sap remover.

I detail autos for a Chevrolet dealership...I have used nothing but a clay-bar and a lubricant(any quick-shine product),,,it is effective and will not harm anything.

What car wax/polish do you use?

I have used the Liquid Glass with GREAT success....also for shine and shows I use the "Surf City Garage" line of quick details and leather conditioning products...the Surf City line works EXTREMELY well and it smells great too...their leather conditioner is amazing on the interior...leaves the...

    C4 ignition key needed

88 ignition key Roger, they are mistaken!!! there are 15 different possibilities for an 88....they all have a "chip" in the key that completes the circuit and disables/enables the VATS system....go to a dealer and have the resistance measured for the chip unless u have an ohm meter handy...I...

    Another new guy

Welcome to the site and enjoy it for all it worth! I own a c4 and am 6'3" ...I have room to spare.....I did notice that in models I drove with sport seats the shoulder room was a bit tight compared to standard seats...but that is my opinion....also note that in the most recent issue ofCORVETTE...

    Praise for the L98

my '88 is bone stock...hoping to qualify for a top-flight...I love my vette just that way but also appreciate someone who changes theirs to their own liking,I still give the wave to ANY vette I pass on the road and to be honest having a 23 yr old car that still turns heads and gets compliments...

    Tire rant.. Goodyear

I feel your pain...I'm in the process of getting my 1988 ready for NCRS Top Flight judging....goodyear was the original supplier for the 16's that came on my car and they no longer make ANYTHING that will fit. If they did I would get them just to keep the car as close to all original as possible...

I just checked E-bay motors...currantly there are 13 1993 models for sale...3 of which are non ruby red cars being sold as anniversary models.....guess that makes my 88 a 35th anniversary edition as well....caveat emptor i guess:confused

    40th Anniversary fake 40th anniversarys

I have an '88 which happens to be white. By no means is it a 35th anniversary edition...it just happens to be a 1988.....to me there IS a difference and as long as someone doesn't try to pass it off as such...well to each his own. If you check out e-bay there are people who call their cars...

Help! '89 Vette Has No Underhood Lights or Cornering Lamps

Seeing as it is an '89 and sooo many owners buy the aftermarket switch to manually turn them on and off (very useful when at a car show)...try seeing if there is a switch wired into the harness for them.....just a thought and good luck! Jeff

    Front Plate used?

front plate I too, live in the great state of NY where 2 plates are mandatory. I have asked this same question to all my vette friends since the consensus is pretty much evenly split. I'm not about risking getting pulled over for something silly like that so I have mine on...I bought the lexan...

    Question: Corvette Insurance — Who??

insurance you might try some of the "classic" auto insurers..ie Haggerty, J C Taylor etc. I have my 1988 insured for $25,000 agreed value replacement thru J C Taylor for $385/yr. no mileage restriction. IMHO these types of companies are more in the know for the car hobbyists...good luck! Jeff
