I'm now about to get my 4th new brake booster made by MBM. I've been working with Muskegon Brake to get a brake booster that has the mounting studs for the master cyl at the right distance apart to allow the cyl to fit over them.
Muskegon is going to spread the set apart far enough to...
John,
The handheld units only allow you to change basic functions such as: Rev limiter level, cooling fan turn on temp, shift points. If you are looking to get as much as possible out of your motor, you need to find a shop with a dyno and software to completely map your air/fuel ratio through...
Why don't they let someone who deserves to drive it and would never be able to afford one drive it? Like someone who has Cancer, or something.
I'm sure Lance can afford one with his endorsement money rolling in.
Interesting that a guy who promotes Subaru is going to promote a Vette too.
Bob,
Enjoy the ride!
If I were me, (wait... I am me aren't I? I guess that's a different thread now isn't it???) I'd put in that spacer. I was able to put my finger and hold it on the carb after 14 runs at the strip a few weeks ago because of the spacer. If it was not there, I would...
I did the same thing when I converted to the Aluminum dual plane intake on the 454. Phenolic spacer... Most autopart stores have them on hand. I got mine at Murray's
Friends original style replacement Holley is dumping fuel out of the front bowl repeatedly. He's had the thing apart a number of times, and no success at solving the problem. It ends up dumping excessive amounts of gas all over the intake.
He is considering a replacement, but would prefer...
The new brake booster came with two plungers a short one and a long one. I have a new dual master cylinder to go with it... any idea which plunger is correct? I think it's the long one, but I can't get the old units separated to compare.
Thanks!
Dave
I run bras on all my cars in the spring.... that's when the most debris is out there waiting to get your paint. I make sure to get one that just clips on to the hood. When it rains, I just pop the hood and pull it off.
If you are looking for something to protect your paint but don't want to...
I went to change my oil and I think the 32 years of oil changes on the car have taken their toll on the oil pan. I installed a new oil plug on the last change an noted then that it wasn't snugging well. I went to change it this time and now I'm screwed! (punn intended)
I tried rethreading...
Ralph... your Vaccum advance is on the wrong side of the Edelbrock carb. It should be on the right hand port if you are facing the carb from the front position. The left side is for your Tranny kick down on an automatic.
Switch it and see what happens. Make sure to cap off the left side if...
What's with the ZO6 Bouncing the front just before the green light???
... looked like my dog trying to hump my cat, but missing and dryhumping the air.
