Boys/girls Club of my town is having a fund raiser auction tomorrow. I see they have an 86 Vette on the auction. I don't know anything about the Vette, just saw the picture in the paper. What would be the high/low value of an 86, or would there be to many variables?

Starting from a stop, it will climb to 3500-3700rpm(auto in 1st or 2nd gear) and stop reving, just like it has a governor? If you put it in neutral, it will rev up like it should. Could this be connected with the transmission not wanting to shift, unless I let up(in another post)?
