    Gas Smell

I smell gas fumes. I notice it most after a drive just as I am getting out of the car. It does not appear to be coming from the engine area but seems strong from under the car. I have replaced the gas cap and there are no visible signs of fuel leaking. Any ideas? Thanks

    Vbration - Please Help

I have a vibration in my’86 coupe that has 79,000 miles on it that I cannot find. It acts just like a tire that is out of balance. I can feel it all the time and it becomes stronger as the speed is increased. It’s really not very noticeable until you are above 60 mph. From there it gets...

A few days ago I took my 86 for a short errand. I went to start it for the return trip home and it started but ran very rough and then died. It would not restart so we both got a ride on the tow truck home. I first changed the fuel filter but while I had it off I tried running the pump and...

    Service Engine Soon

I just cleaned my engine this past weekend on my '86 coupe and tonight was my first time to take it out. In less than a mile on the street the engine stumbled as it was making a shift from second to thrid and the service engine soon light came on. After that the engine seemed to be running...
