Don't forget GM's price increase
As of GM's price increases effective 3/3/14, you can add $2,000 to the base cost of a coupe or convertible and $1200 to the cost of the Z51 package.
As I'm seriously considering ordering an early 2015, I hope they delay the next round of increases until after...
Thank You!

Please vote for my wife and best buddy Patti's '96 Grand Sport Convertible for the upcoming 2013 NCM Insurance Agency Calendar.
She would be soooo thrilled to have her car featured. She doesn't even know I submitted her car.

What Mo said. Whatever, it certainly won't diminish the value or enjoyment factor of our '96 Grand Sports, which themselves are just wonderful tributes to the original. If this helps keep Corvette as a viable brand, knock themselves out. It's all good. :thumb
I agree with the suggestions everyone else has posted here. Run down that trouble code first, then go from there. Good idea to check the TPS, too.
While they aren't the most trouble free things in the world, 3 opti's in only 34K miles is unusual. If the previous units were in fact bad...
Great news! Nice to see the LT4 Forum back on line, Rob. There are still quite a few of us "red intake" guys out here that need to exchange info on this great little motor.
All CAC members are also invited to review the substantial LT4 content we have collected at the Grand Sport Registry, as...
Sounds great, Chris. By all working together, we can make the annual Gathering event at the NCM something really special for ALL C4 owners.
Let's do it! :beer

Thanks for posting this information. This Grand Sport "mule" is indeed a nice addition to the collection at the National Corvette Museum. I can't wait to see it in person!

OK, the car is undeniably awesome, but c'mon... what # GS is it??? Is it the #900 GS that used to belong to Robert Anderson in Texas?
Please help me update the Grand Sport Owners Database by asking the owner to register the car with the GSR at http://www.grandsport.org/register.htm
Who did...
Well, never say never but this comes darn close.
PowerEffects exhaust tips are cast aluminum jobs that bolt directly to the "power capsules" (aka, mufflers). It would be a real trick to fabricate something that looked like LT1 tips yet still mount to the PE mufflers.
You can get chromed or...

"And know you know the rest of the story."
Thanks for clearing all that up, JP. Looks like you need to change your Forum name, though. :D
Cool, but there's more to a factory LT4 than a top end kit. Click here for the differences between an LT1 vs LT4
And 425+ HP with only the addition of a GM Hot Cam is a bit optimistic, methinks. ;)
What about "standard" CNC LT4 heads? I'm running a set of these on my stock displacement LT4 with More Perf top-end kit and have been happy with them but wonder if I need to rework them when I go for that 396 stroker block?
Last dyno was 364 RWHP with heads, cam (222/230), 52mm TB, 30#...
