So I got a new camera, the Nikon D750.
Let's just say "AWESOME!". That led me to take the car out for a couple of shots. 125 pictures later, I was still wanting to take more.
Funny things happened while taking the pictures.
One girl stopped me to ask if I was photographing a race car...
So I went and had the car "tuned".
Mod's include:
Corsa Sport Exhaust (axle back)
K&N Air Filter
Result:
Removed the 1-4 shift notification
Dyno results:
Sport Mode: 455.5 WHP 463.4 ft-lb Torque
Track Mode: 457.1 WHP
Drives FANTISTIC! Love the shifting now. Looks like I'll have to budget...
Just finished detailing with Zanio Z-2. I used to go to the corvette shows and ask owners how they got that wet look. They answered "Zaino".
I've been using it for years now (1969 Black Vette, 2006 Mustang GT, 2011 F-150 Lariat, 2013 F-150 King Ranch), and love the results.
So I'm glad to...
So this fall we are taking a nice road trip. I'd like to see if anyone knows what luggage (size, type, ect.) fits and fills the convertible trunk. I know there is a 5 piece set available, but that appears to be for the coupe. We are planning on using the vacuum storage bags in order to have...
I'm excited to say, that after placing an order on January 20th, 2014, I received a call from the dealership that my car has arrived!
This is the FIRST time I have ever ordered a new car from the factory with the options that I would like. So I thought I would share my details with the...

Here is the body mount at the rear of the car. The bolt will loosen, turn and turn but will not come out. I can even retighten the bolt with about 1 turn, no matter how much I have tried to loosen it.
How does this bolt come out?
When the car is on the ground, the door hits the body when it closes. If I have the car up on jacks, there is a (aprox.) 1/4" even gap all the way around. Any ideas what is causing this?
Thanks,
Rick
Question: The blower will blow on low, med, & med-high. But no high speed. I have tested at the fuse link under the hood (by the relay), and it's OK. The switch tests OK (ohm's test). I have the wiring diagram, but I am not able to track down any breaks in the wiring or another fuse...
Does anyone know how the headlight washer is supposed to be? Is it 1 washer, that washers the low beam only, 1 washer w/2 sprayers to wash the high & low, or is it 2 washers per side?
Thanks,
Rick
I have just recently acquired a '69 triple black convt. I would loved to have this car judged at the Orlando show this next January.
The question is: To have a car judged, what do I need to do? Do I have to join the NCRS to have the car judged? When you you bring the car to be judged, and...
Question: My new car was judged at an NCRS event in '86. It received a Bloomington Gold. Does this information stay in some sort of database, or does NCRS track previously judged cars?
