1990 zr-1
Growing up I was always into sports cars but Corvette never really got me going. It wasn't until the 1990 ZR-1 came out that I found myself thinking "I'd love to have one of those". To me this was the first time Corvette was the whole package. Then they updated the base C4 engine...
The final digits of the VIN are 104036. I think that means this is car number 4,036 for the year. The driver's door sticker has MFG DATE 10/92. So I guess this is an early build but not "very" early. However, I suppose that it is possible that it's an early example of the "40th Anniversary...
Hello and thanks for responding.
The sticker has the following codes:
DEALER NO 00-995
SHIP TO DEALER NO 00-185
I checked the NCRS Web site but it was no help. Of course I may not know what to look for. I'm curious about this because the "Dealer To Whom Delivered" does not look like a dealers...
The window sticker from my 1993 has the following:
Dealer to whom delivered
CO SHOW & DISPAY-PASS CAR MDSG
440 Burroughs
Detroit, MI 48202
Delivered to dealer at
Warren, MI
To me it seems like the "dealer" when decoded may be Company Show and Display - Passenger Car Merchandising
Anybody...
I got a set of the red ones for my 93 from Mid America. The "R" in CORVETTE does not fit right. They were temporarily out of stock before I got mine so I wonder if this new stock is different from the old stock. ;shrug
Local GM dealer says they can't get this part and I need it to repair my A/C. Anyone got one for sale or have a recommendation for a place I can check with? ;help
New GS Wheels
My 93 with her new GS wheels :upthumbs

Got them on today. I realize these are not the greatest pictures.
Old sawblades. The finish is coming off of these.
New GS wheels look great (IMHO)

Chevy has the Cobalt Coupe SS, 260 HP, 30 MPG highway and it is selling for $22,255 right now. I have no direct experience with this car but I have read several positive reviews. I do not believe it is on the kids radar. My guess is that it's not 'cool'. So how do you fix that perception? I...
I've been lurking in the background following this thread with great interest. Maybe there are more people like me out there.
I am impressed with the work that you are doing and so far I love the result. I'm not usually a big fan of the way these kitted-out cars look but this one looks great...
