Jim,
How is you Corvette build project going along. What pieces were you able to collect? Did you put them together already in something driveable?
greetings from tulip and windmill country,
Rob.

All,
Could anybody tell me what the costs for a HUD unit for a 1999 would be and where/how I can order such an unit? It is possible to build this in yourself and does it need a lot of expertise (or just a sharp stanley knife) ?
thanks,

All,
I replaced the Trading Parts section today with a new piece of functionality called 'Weblogs'. It enables you to create a web-diary to record your car restoration, oldtimer event visits, judging experiences, car adventures, etc. without having to own and maintain a website yourself! Also...
We decided to go to the East Coast this year and to visit the Carlisle Corvette show on Friday and maybe also on Saturday. I hope to see you all there (together with your Vette's) !
greetings,
Rob & Simone.
Dear Corvette lovers,
The Corvette C1 Registry is already, one and a half weeks before scheduled date, fineshed and therefore declared opened. All C1's with exception of the 1959 and 1961 models can be registered via this site. Pictures of theses cars and their owners can be uploaded and...
Hi,
I've picked up the glove (see earlier postings) and created a, nearly ready, C1 Registration site (excl. 1959 and 1961 since there are excellent sites already available for these years). Now I'm searching for app. 5 beta testers to give me feedback and to find out if it works as expected...
I find CorvetteStop in California very useful. They have almost every part of each C1 as repro's available and some originals as well. Their catalogue is brilliant and almost teared apart beacause of my extensive reading.

All,
If I would rent a camper I suppose overnighting wouldn't be a problem (what is your opinion on this ?)
Is the East coast worth while touring, I'm not so much into the city touring thing but more a county-side touring guy. (Basicly I hate shopping) ?
greetings,
Rob.
Jim/Bill,
Don't know when I'm going yet, I'm in the oplanning phase of our vacation next year. I'm thinking of going to the States and make a trip with a camper for 3 weeks allthough. Since the dollar is relativily cheap now its now or never...
Also the west coast is still an option, I think...
