Anyone got a bracket that holds the idle stop solenoid on a Rochester Qjet? Mine's a '68 327-350hp with a/c

I'm trying to determine if my '68 a/c fan is working properly, and if so, are there any upgrades out there to boost performance. The first 2 speeds seem almost non-existant, while the "high" speed is barely adequate. Is this normal for this vintage?
