I've been living in the Dallas area for the last five years now and recently we experienced some rather large hail.
Fortunately, the Vette was garaged during the storm but my son's "metal" car wasn't so lucky. Looks like someone took a hammer to it but no broken glass.
I'd like to hear from...
I guess mine is so low because my daily commute is only 3.5 miles and it's mostly 40 to 45 speed limit. But every now and then I feel the need for speed and get some highway in.
I cruised the highways for about an hour over the weekend and got the average up to 18.5 from 16.
Maybe I'll reset...
Don't know if this one's been done before and I'm going to let you folks have some fun at my expense.
So here goes. According to your Driver Information Center, what is your average speed?
Now let's have some fun; mine is 16.1 mph.
Go ahead, let me have it. :happyanim:
Is it difficult to get to? Has anyone extracted theirs? My C5 is a 2004 so I imagine that if I do in fact have a build sheet in the nose, It's probably pretty funky looking by now

I seem to recall reading about that somewhere here at CAC, but I find it hard to believe.
I have the alignment report and it looks lke I have -0.5 and -0.7 for the camber. The toe is 0.07 and 0.07. Also, I wasn't in the car while it was being done.
I got a similar deal. I got my '04 from one of those super dealers. He said he had about 60 Vettes in stock and had to get rid of them to make room for the C6's.:upthumbs
You guys are getting me nervous. I also have an '04 and I've had two alignments and three sets of tires (I'm counting the original set). I put my third set on at 46k miles.
Each set had extreme wear on the inside of the fronts. The rears were always OK.
My first alignment was done at a place...
When I bought my 2004 in January 2004, my dealer had about 65 C5's on the lot. I guess everyone was waiting for the C6's. I got a great price for my C5 because of that. Maybe those 09's will come down in price.
Yes, the always popular Corvette shows up in Hollywood every now and then.
Just a few days ago my daughter was watching the "What I like about you" T.V. show and the main character, Amanda Bynes, had received $2000 as a birthday present. She thought she was rich and was contemplating how she...
