    How would you fix this?

Tried that. Vendor told me I'd have to wait another 20 weeks for the replacement. So, you guessed it....it can be repaired in less time.

We're installing hugger headers on my son's 68 vert. Engine in near original (327/300) except previous owner changed out the cylinder heads to 461s. Anyway, alternator bolts to the ram horns and without them we need to buy replacement brackets. Where do we go? If you have part numbers, that...

    Engine re-painting

The machine shop painted block...standard chevy orange but looks like they might not have prepped it well. There's some peeling around an edge or two. What can I do to correct? Buying pistons?

I'm a little confused. Few makers list 3.25 stroke with their pistons. Instead the list 3.480. Will this work? Also, any recommendation for pistons ?,i.e., KB, Speed pro, etc. Bill

    crower connecting rods

Anyone bought a set of crower connecting rods for 327/5.7"-sj recently? If so, are they off-the-self or special order? Where do I order? How much can I expect to pay? How long to deliver? Thanks, Bill

    Question for you engine builders?

When referring to a connecting rod, what is meant by "bushed and uses a floating piston pin"? Is this good or is there something better? Application: L79 restoration, cruising... Thanks, Bill
