Friend has a c7 and we are trying to find out what the little access panel is on the lower left side of the rear bumper. Panel is maybe 2"x3" below the lights but just above the bottom edge.
Any ideas.
Thanks in advance.
Road Diet
Just a heads up for you folks who are traveling thru town. Carlisle is doing a road diet. Once your in the heart of town the travel lanes are down to one. This really helps if your new to town and looking for places to eat or shop.
The Ford show just passed and traffic ran pretty...
michelin's
I read have been reading all the reviews. And changed over to the Michelin's also. Even my wife noticed the quieter ride. I think their the only way to go too. :beer
Family Fight
It's always nice to try blow the doors off a Mustang. But trying living with me and going to the local shows. The Wife has 01 GT with little improvements and tries to beat me out of the driveway. The is true close road racing.
The storm left us all felling like this :ohnoes
But we the friends we met over the years coming here left us like this :beer.
But if your a true car nut and want a real change try leaving the big city life and move here we did. So no more 3 hour + drives up here anymore, wife gives you a...
First time in twelve years we won't be staying in a hotel in town. Now just hoping the builder finishes our house in time. Best part is we're only 15 minutes from the fairgounds.
:D
I am wondering if anyone knows where I get find a photo of just yellow vettes taken about two years in Carlisle on the hill. Friend thought it saw it once in a mag but can't locate it.
Any help would be great. Thanx in advance.
Like the rest the heater could be one reason but with my 80 which is also stored outside with a cover, we found out some moisture came thru the cover. After a little research with a hose I found small cracks at windsheld bottom where the wipers sat and when it rained(god forbit it has outside)...

By The Sentinel staff, September 1, 2004
Carlisle Events officials say last weekend's Corvette show attracted 56,209 people to Carlisle Fairgrounds.
The officials add 2,499 Corvettes were in the "Fun Display" show field and 1,267 vendors sold Corvette parts...
You can try E-bay, I lucked out and found a blue tinted one for my wife's 80 for 300.00. If going to Carlisle try stopping at Gee's a smaller guy with a good salavge parts and also some new stuff.
Get there early. Gates open at 7am. Have breakfast on the grounds to save time. Since the place is 82 acres also have good walking shoes. Like the rest if not driving a vette the surrounding folks let you park on their lawns and I have never had a problem in my nine years of going to this or any...
Hey Barry good one, let me know if you can find the front door, right now only a big hole in the ground exists, no house build yet. Most likely next year is a possibility.

Reading this was like seeing my life pass before my eyes, right down to cutting the grass the night before. Carlisle is becoming my second home during the past nine years that we're building in the area now, so it's no more 4am wake up calls it only a ride cross town.
:love Carlisle
In getting my alarm to work, first try pulling out the door switches to check for loose ends also check the hood switch. I never pulled the switches located in the roof holes. I believe there is also a switch or relay in the console area by the shifter. Also try just connecting a wire to test...
Thanx for the input. Just found my Corvette Central book and right on page 1 are the pans for 249 each. Guess I shop around first, else I will have to take my 75 to Carlisle this year so much for the extra storage space.
In deciding to replace my old carpeting, I discovered that my floor pans are rusting away. I know this car sat for about 4 yrs with a cover on it and never knew the rust was that bad until now. Is there a easy way to cut out the rusting area and just tack in some new pans or try to shape...
Not sure if your 81 is the exact as my 80 but the anti-theft alarm is armed using the left door lock or driver doors. It is armed at the same time you turn to lock the door by turning counterclock to lock. To disarm just unlock using the same door. Note if you have power locks and use them to...
