I am having the exact same issue. I can't find any leaks so I'm taking it in today to have a shop find the leak. I suspect it's the water pump and I don't want to tackle it myself.

I haven't had my car on the dyno so I don't have baseline numbers; I think most LT4's are putting out about 290 at the rear wheels. I do think that Cal allows shorty headers so thats something to consider.

Thanks Hib, I do have a Corsa cat-back exhaust on the car now; just don't know if the Hot Cam would be much of an improvement.

I'm considering having the Hot Cam installed but can't do LT headers because it won't pass smog in Cal. What kind of performance gain can be expected from the Hot Cam alone? Are there other mods required with the cam?

From looking at the pictures I'd say you may have a lot of negotiating room. The For Sale signs appear to be very faded; the car may have been for sale for a long time. Desperate seller?

As others have said your Camry will not be able to handle it. Towing on a level road is not difficult, but for pulling up hills and stopping you need a vehicle that is designed for the job.

I also have an LT4 with K&N,Corsa and am considering the long tube headers; but if I understand your post your 2K investment netted an 11 HP gain. I don't think the results would be worth it to me. Is their something I'm not understanding? I know the headers would help a lot with the Hot Cam but...

It's very hard to see the fluid level through the plastic. The lid does fit very tight,but it just turns off.

I agree; I understand that there is very little performance gain with a stock engine and the stock filter will do a better job of filtering. I took out my K&N and replaced it with a paper filter. I didn't notice any difference in performance.

Not even the CE would be considered a super low mile car; neither are likely to appreciate a lot in the near future although the CE should do better in the long run. If your going to use the car the milage difference is not that great. I would say the local car is a better buy if you like the...
