Strange that the same car has been bought before but...
Is anybody near Roscoe, NY? Because I would like to get that kit for my 33#/90 and I would need to get the parts to Timmonsville, SC where my exporter lives. ;help
Well, it depends how technical background you have. I have mechanical engineering background so all the books that I have found are more of basic stuff.
Also browse theturboforums.com (ex turbomustangs.com) and speedtalk.com
forums, there have good info there also. Happy hunting. :beer
Just browse amazon and buy every book with turbocharging in them. :D
I`ve got
-Turbocharging Performance Handbook by Jeff Hartman
-Street TurbochargingHP1488: Design, Fabrication, Installation, and
Tuning of High-Performance Street Turbocharger Systems (Paperback)
by Mark Warner
-Forced...
I`m still in fitting stage, but by the size garret gt30r with smaller compressor house or holset hy35, with custom compressor house. Should have more info when I got the turbos for fitting. Those turbos have capacity about 500 horses each.
No stainless. I`m going to try to make my own exhaust manifolds with
better design and smoother transitions with my tig welder. Also going to put old turbos in storage and upgrade to current technology turbos. :)
Finally got time and motivation to remove the turbos. Definitely the worst
job of alltime. :hb
And in the nick of time too, because one of my exhaust manifolds have cracked.
What is correct way of removing turbos? I`ve already got intercoolers and intake off for other things. I just looked four hours for my tt manual, but it is somewhere hiding from me. :eyerole
This summer got to see yellow and blue geiger cars in action at the Hockenheim, Germany. Blue twin turbo got crashed to the wall and
yellow supercharged got "little" hot.:D
